Conduct Policy

It would awesome if we lived in a world where everyone felt safe, respected and treated with the dignity they deserve. We do not yet live there. Alas, we have this conduct policy just to keep it all 100 & on the up and up. We want everyone to attend Aggregate to feel safe and welcome. It’s the reason we’ve created this event in the first place and your adherence to this conduct policy will ensure your part in making #GGRGT a positive experience for everyone involved.

All attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers at Aggregate (#GGRGT) are required to the following code of conduct. The organizers will enforce this code throughout the event. We are expecting cooperation from all participants to help ensuring a safe environment for everybody, capisce?

We do not discriminate based on race, age, color, ethnic background, nationality, religion, gender,  gender identity or expression, body shape, disability, or even whether you prefer Star Wars over Star Trek. We do not tolerate harassment based on discrimination.

We insist that all participants and attendees adhere to a civil demeanor at all times. This includes refraining from inappropriate language, comments and behavior. This includes, but is not limited to: sexually oriented language and images, unwanted attention, threatening behavior, physical assault, theft.

Participants, sponsors or attendees who are being harassed, intimidated, or are dealing with otherwise improper behavior are encouraged to report it immediately to a member of our team, who will be clearly identified during the conference by their special nametags and shirts. You can also email safe@ggrgt.com.

Anyone who is found to be in violation of this policy may be handled in any one or more of these methods, depending on the offense:

  • warning
  • expulsion (see below)
  • contacting of the police

False reports will be treated harshly. Personal disputes should be handled privately, unless actual harassment occurs.
